Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Falls County Court Docket receives from visitors, why it is used, and when another service may process it. By using the website, you agree to the practices stated here.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

Text entered into a search tool, such as a name or case number, is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its result. Falls County Court Docket does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you email us, the message is retained as needed to answer it. It is kept within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a visitor loads a page, the website’s systems may receive routine technical and usage details:

  • the device’s assigned IP address
  • browser type and version
  • device class and operating system
  • pages viewed and time spent on them
  • the referring site, when available
  • the time of each page request

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help measure aggregate use, including which pages are visited and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies. Some website functions may then work differently.

What We Do With This Data

Collected data may be used for the following operational purposes:

  • operating the website and improving load performance
  • passing a visitor’s query to the selected search partner
  • measuring which resources are useful
  • finding and correcting technical faults
  • displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests

No Court-Record Data on File

Falls County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal case records or official dockets. It publishes general directions to the Falls County District Clerk, County Clerk, justice courts, municipal courts, dated docket pages, and Texas re:SearchTX. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies power search boxes shown on some content pages. Information placed in a partner tool is governed by that company’s privacy policy rather than this policy. The provider controls its own retention, processing, disclosure, and pricing practices. Review those terms before submitting a query.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to the Falls County clerks, Texas courts, re:SearchTX, eFileTexas, legal-aid resources, or third-party search providers. Once a visitor follows an outside link, the destination’s privacy terms govern the visit. Read them before giving that service personal information.

Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Falls County Court Docket does not control that outside tracking.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be shared with:

  • a search partner that processes a query the visitor submits
  • analytics providers that measure traffic and performance
  • advertising networks that display ads
  • government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid order requires disclosure

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable, commonly used safeguards are applied to information under our control. No online system can be guaranteed secure, however. We work to reduce risk but cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.

Users Under 18

The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will remove it promptly after receiving a valid request.

Your Data Rights

Rights concerning personal information depend on the law that applies to the visitor and the data. A person may ask to:

  • receive a copy of personal information we retain about that person
  • correct retained information that is inaccurate
  • delete personal information where the governing law permits
  • opt out of processing where an applicable right allows it

The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, concerns existing public information held by Texas governmental bodies. Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 governs access to judicial records other than ordinary case records. Those public-record access authorities do not turn this privately operated site into a government records custodian.

Updates to This Policy

This privacy policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A revised version becomes available here with a new effective date, so visitors should review the current text periodically.

Effective date: September 7, 2026
